Student Sponsorship Program

Mission of the Creston Men's Club: The Creston Men's Club is dedicated to supporting and strengthening our local community through initiatives that promote the well-being, development, and success of our community. We are committed to fostering opportunities for local youth, encouraging their growth in sports and personal development.

Program Objective: The objective of the 2025 Student Sponsorship Program is to provide financial assistance to young students residing in Creston, CA, and the surrounding areas for the purpose of their personal development. Our goal is to remove financial barriers that may prevent local youth from pursuing their athletic, or other, ambitions. Special consideration will be given to rodeo athletes, given their strong presence and tradition in our community.

Eligibility:

• Applicants must be youth students residing in Creston, CA, or the surrounding area.

• Open to participants of any age and any activity, with special priority for rodeo athletes. (18 years old and younger)

• Priority will be given to families who demonstrate financial need.

Funding Scope:

Sponsorship funds may be used for costs related to program participation, including but not limited to:

• Equipment purchases

• Travel expenses for competitions

• Entry or registration fees

• Coaching or training fees

Application Process:

• Interested applicants must complete the official sponsorship application form, available at CrestonMensClub.org.

• Applicants are encouraged to provide a detailed description of their background, goals, and how sponsorship support will assist them.

• Deadline for submissions is April 30, 2025.

• Only submissions made through the online submission form will be considered.

Selection Process:

• Applications will be reviewed by a committee of Creston Men's Club members.

• May 5th invitations will be send to selected athletes for in-person presentation to the general membership

• Details on the presentation format will be provided in advance to those selected athletes

• In person presentations will be on May 13th

• Winners will be announced on May 15th

Sponsorship:

• Selected athletes will be the beneficiaries of a fund raiser that the Crest Men’s Club will run on June 20, 2025.

• The profit from the fund raiser will be equally distributed to those selected students

• To maximize the funds raised, athletes are encouraged to attend the fundraiser, and to work in advance to promote the event.

Terms and Conditions:

• Sponsorship funds are to be used solely for the stated purpose in the application.

• Misuse of funds or misrepresentation in the application may result in forfeiture of the sponsorship.

• The Creston Men's Club reserves the right to request additional information to verify eligibility.

• The Men’s club has the final say in the selection of the recipients
